Research
From 2007 to 2011, I was working on my master and PhD thesis in the cosmology group at the Leibniz-Institute for Astrophysics Potsdam (AIP). My main research topics were hydrodynamical cosmological simulations, the interplay between cosmological structure formation and the state of the intergalactic medium, and the central configuration of dark matter halos.
From 2011 to 2018, I was working as a postdoctoral researcher still at the Leibniz-Institute for Astrophysics Potsdam (AIP) and worked on different astronomical and interdisciplinary projects in the field of Research Data Management (RDM) and data publication. Together with my colleagues at the E-Science group at AIP, I developed several astronomical data portals, e.g., the APPLAUSE database, CosmoSim, Gaia@AIP and the GREGOR archive. For the projects RADIESCHEN and DGR-VRE, I analysed the sustainability and organizational structures of the RDM and Virtual Research Environments (VRE) in Germany.
