Hi there! My name is Jochen Klar and I live in Berlin, Germany.
Currently, I work at the Leibniz-Institute for Astrophysics Potsdam (AIP). As part of E-Science group, I work on different projects regarding data management and data publication, both in Astronomy and interdiciplinary. I am the lead developer of Daiquiri, which is a framework for the publication of astronomical databases, and RDMO, the research data management organizer.
In my free time, I am one of the organizers of the OK Lab Berlin, which is part of the Code for Germany network. We try to use public data from the administration, from companies, and from other sources to build useful applications, visualizations, and other tools for citizens.
