Bürger baut Stadt
Bürger baut Stadt was a website to gather official publications about different construction projects in Berlin and display them on an interactive map. Usually these documents are only published on platforms which are difficult to find and/or are not available in digital form. With this project, we aim to enable citizens, who are interested in the development of their neighborhood, to participate in the public planning process of such endeavors.
Bürger baut Stadt was initially developed by Joanna Dauner, mainly responsible for the design of the page, and Magdalena Noffke, who did most of the programming. I support the project with advice regarding technical questions and server administration, and am also contributing to the code of the web application.
