Success criteria for the establishment and sustainable operation of virtual research environments

The DFG-VRE project developed success criteria for virtual research environments (VRE). In expert discussions, the experiences of various actors in the development and operation of VRE were gathered and subsequently processed into general and specific success factors. My main contribution was the conception of a life cycle model for VRE.
